LUMBER:  1 piece of 2" X 4" X 8'

BOATS 27' AND UP -

RECOMMEDED 4 Jack Stands-

2 small 25"-38"  and 2 large 28"-46"-

Why do we recommend the use of JACK STANDS with cement blocks?

Older boats have a Plywood core that need to be treated differently. Trailer set - up @ time of haul & identying hull conditions we will modify the blocking based on YOUR HULL.

 Jack Stands are the safest, efficient method of shoring boats.

This "shoring system" was originated  and set the standard in the Marine industry.

Chosen by the Marine professionals as "the best you can get".

• Do not use Jack Stands to suspend a boat in mid air.
• Use blocking along the centerline of a boat to rest all the weight on.
• Never allow anyone other than qualified, experienced or authorized personel to move or adjust Jack Stnads while in use.
• Use a pair of Jack Stands, one placed PORT and one placed STARBOARD for each 8' of a boats lenght, minimum of 4 Jack Stands per boat.
• Never allow anything (such as canvas) to be tied to the Jack Stands.
• Use plywood under Jack Stands if the ground is soft.
